Johnny and the Vault Cats
Who are these cats anyway?

Johnny and the Vault Cats is an authentic rockabilly band playing songs from the early days of rock and roll. Their music and style feature artists such as Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly and many others from the good ol' days of rock! The band is comprised of local (and some not so local) musicians who got the idea to serve up this style of music in the Valley!

Here is a little more about the Cats in the band:

Clay Arthur--plays guitar and sings--works a day gig at First Bank in Strasburg working in the Financial Planning Department.

Doug Arthur--Clay's favorite bass player (and Dad)--plays the stand up bass and works as a local attorney in Strasburg. He does that to support his music habit!

Shane Bell--drums--makes his living as a CPA/CFO counting dollars and cents for First Bank--but on the side he counts the beats for the Vault Cats!

Gloria Goeres--vocals, sound and looks-- recently graduated from  "THE" USC--that's South Carolina, by the way--with her Master's degree in Education!  She's in SC teaching 5th grade--Lord help those kids!!  She'll be burning up the miles to get back for our gigs!

Li'l Larry Dahlke--fiddle and vocals--makes his living as an actor/musician, and has recently moved to Strasburg!  He's a regular at the Wayside Theater, but we get him as often as we can!

Rick Burnette -- Newest member of the Vault Cats from Strasburg who really heats up the lead guitar!  You'll notice that he plays sitting down, but you'll be standing up dancing to his great guitar licks!

And now, introducing....Moe Ritenour!  Moe has been helping us out on drums--doing a great job filling in when Shane can't be with us.  Moe's a Strasburg guy who may even remember a few of those old songs from the 50's!

Johnny and the Vault Cats is available for private parties, receptions, corporate events, clubs, bars and restaurtants--heck, we'll even bring our guitars over and play in your living room if you ask real nice! But seriously, we sure appreciate your support of us and live music--be sure and tell your friends and neighbors to check us out sometime! And if you see Johnny-we lost him a couple years back-tell him we're looking for him and send him our way--we'll be playing music somewhere!
